I am a scientist/science communicator, who has finally decided (or should I say dared) to quit “active” research to become a science journalist/science communicator. I have been fascinated by science, in particular biology, since I was small child, and always wanted to do research. But the longer I stayed in research, the more I realised, that I'd rather like to do research for the sake of research, but not to establish a career in academia. I’ve written a blog post about myself, as I found 1200 characters too restrictive :).
